Elder Andrew Cook III

Andrew Cook III was born in Newark, NJ on June 20, 1966 to Andrew Cook II and Gladys McDuffie. Minister Cook was raised most of his life in East Orange, NJ, where he attended East Orange High School. Following his graduation from high school, Andrew enlisted in the United States Marine Corps from December 1984 to January 1998. During his time in the Marine Corps, Andrew married Catrina Janee Mack in December 1988. From this union, they had 2 children, Nikea and Antonio.
Andrew gave his life to the Lord in October 1994 and became a member of Word of Faith Holy Tabernacle (now known as Word of Faith Christian Fellowship). Andrew was appointed as a Deacon in 1995 by Bishop Duane I. Coats.
In 2002, Andrew was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel by Bishop Coats (Word of Faith Christian Fellowship). As a member of Word of Faith Christian Fellowship, Andrew was a part of many ministries such as Men’s Fellowship, Choir/Praise Team, Sound Ministry, Prison Correspondence Ministry, Chairman of the Minister Board and Sunday School Superintendent.
Outside of Word of Faith Christian Fellowship, Andrew began establishing his own ministry, which is named Revelation Community Outreach Ministry, Inc. One of the parts of this ministry is Bible Trivia (est. 2001), through which he sends out daily Bible-related questions to participants and challenges them to solve them. Bible Trivia is still in operation to this day.
In late 2008, Andrew received an unction from God that it was time to move on and do a work in the area of outreach. In February 2009, Andrew joined in covenant with New Light Cathedral and Moving With a Vision Ministries and was ordained as an Elder in June 2009 by Apostle Jerlette Mickie. In March 2011, Andrew was led to start a weekly community Bible Study in Falmouth, VA in which he teaches others the Word of God.
